Meadowbank House Bed & Breakfast

Meadowbank House has opened as a new Bed and Breakfast on
Medbourne Lane in Liddington. Jane Howes and Matthew Bowman have moved in to
Meadowbank House from Wanborough and aim to provide guests with home comforts
in quiet and peaceful surroundings.

Jane was until recently teaching at Corsham Primary School
near Bath. For a complete change she is using the many skills she has acquired
during different careers to launch and run the new venture.

Meadowbank House has three comfortable double rooms with a choice of modern private facilities or shared bathroom. The guest sitting room has wonderful views over the garden, french windows open to a terrace with outside seating to enjoy warm evenings. There is also an open log fire for when it is not so warm and there are places to read, write or watch TV. Wireless internet is available throughout and wired connections can be arranged in bedrooms for unlimited streaming.

A full Wiltshire breakfast, using as many local ingredients and home-made dishes as possible, is freshly prepared and served each morning. Other choices, including seasonal dishes, and Jane’s legendary American pancakes with maple syrup are always on offer.

Meadowbank House is very close to All Saints Church and the village hall. We are also close to the Great Western Hospital, The Ridgeway National Trail, Redlands airfield and Junction 15 of the M4. There is secure off-road parking for guests.
